Un festival de renommée mondiale ne serait pas complet sans son “walk of fame” ou encore l’Allée des Stars.
Juste en face du Palais des Festivals, vous trouverez plus de 300 gravures signées et imprimées à la main par les célébrités qui ont visité la Côte d’Azur et assisté au Festival de Cannes.
L’idée vient du Walk of the fame d’Hollywood avec les étoiles de chaque célébrité à Hollywood. Le Walk of the Stars de Cannes est cependant un peu plus original ; les empreintes de mains sont imprimées dans l’acier inoxydable qui décore le trottoir devant le Palais des Festivals.
Vous y trouverez notamment les noms de Penélope Cruz, Angelina Jolie, Leonardo Dicaprio, Sylvester Stallone, Quentin Tarantino, Nicolas Cage, Pierre Richard, Anthony Quinn, Nicole Kidman, Cameron Diaz, Nathalie Portman et bien d’autres encore.
C’est la manière idéale de rendre hommage aux stars légendaires qui font le voyage depuis l’Amérique jusqu’à la Côte d’Azur pour assister au festival du film de Cannes. Promenez-vous le long du trottoir et placez votre main à côté de l’empreinte de votre célébrité préférée tout en prenant une photo !
