A worldwide known festival wouldn’t be complete without its own ‘walk of fame’ or else The Walk of the Stars – L’Allée des Stars.

Right in front of the Palais des Festivals, you will find more than 300 prints that have been signed and hand-printed by the celebrities who have visited the French Riviera and attended the Cannes Film Festival.

The idea comes from Hollywood’s walk of fame with the stars of each celebrity in Hollywood. Cannes’ Walk of the Stars is a little more original though; the hand prints are imprinted in stainless steel which decorates the pavement in front of the Palais des Festivals.

Some of the names you will find include Penélope Cruz, Angelina Jolie, Leonardo Dicaprio, Sylvester Stallone, Quentin Tarantino, Nicolas Cage, Pierre Richard, Anthony Quinn, Nicole Kidman, Cameron Diaz, Nathalie Portman and many more.

This is the ideal way to honour the legendary stars who travel all the way from America to the French Riviera and attend Cannes’ film festival. Take a walk along the pavement and place your hand next to your favourite celebrity hand print while taking a picture!
