The Musée Molinard offers a wide collection of vintage oil-based perfume bottles and soaps, available in all kinds of colours and scents.

You will learn about the ingredients used in creating high-quality perfumes. The tours highlight all necessary details, from the extracting of the scents to the final bottling. You can enjoy a soap tour as well where you will learn all about the stages of soap making. You even have the opportunity to touch them during the process. You will also find a lot of tools and ancient objects which give a specific Provençal character to the museum’s collection.

There is also a shop providing original pieces of perfumes and soaps. The museum also owns a rather special boutique in the old town offering perfumes and soaps produced directly in Grasse.

Visit the museum and trace the 200-year history of Molinard, one of Grasse’s longest-standing perfumeries. Learn all the necessary facts regarding the process of perfumes and see the original 19th-century Molinard factory.

At the end of the tour, you can choose whether you want to participate in the making of perfume. The Fragrance bar is an exclusive installation that invites visitors to create the perfume of their own choice.
