In the centre of the old town in Antibes lies a small museum which transports you back in time. It traces the life of the talented designer Raymond Peynet.
It was in 1976 when Raymond Peynet decided to settle in Antibes. He practised his art during events in Antibes such as the Bridge festivals, the Antique Fair. During 1980 the decision was made to create a Museum dedicated to one of the most active artists in Antibes in that time.
Let yourself be carried away from the beautiful discoveries that bring back memories. You will also find some drawings of other talented cartoonists such as Plantu, Dubout, Chenez, Blachon, Moisan, Serre.
Apart from Raymond Peynet’s illustrations, you will also find lithographs, Chinese inks, porcelains and even dolls, all of which represent 60 years of his career and his rich collection.
Visit the museum and explore the twists and turns of the history of cartoonists. The museum is open every day except Mondays from 10 am to 12 pm or 2 pm to 6 pm.
