Saint Tropez has some of the most beautiful beaches on the whole French Riviera From little sandy beaches to massive pebble shorelines, these beaches come with refreshing crystal-clear waters, overlooking the whole region by providing amazing views of the Mediterranean Sea and its surroundings.
Plage de Bouillabaisse, situated a little bit further from the village, outside of the port, this sandy beach is a true jewel to the region. There is also a restaurant offering some very tasty and fresh Mediterranean dishes. This particular beach is very quiet as it is mostly known by locals, ideal for a day of relaxation and tranquillity.
Plage des Canoubiers is also a very beautiful beach, used both by locals and visitors. During summer you can see the luxurious villas along the shore. There are also yachting services being offered and you can try your hand and have a go yourself.
Plage des Salins is mostly known for its surrounding trees that provide natural shade to the area, especially during warm summers. It is a very quiet beach, in comparison with others and it has a pebble shoreline with crystal-clear waters. The best combination! There is also a restaurant situated on the side, well-known for its delicious pizzas.
Plage de la Ponche is situated in the old quarter of La Ponche or the Old Town, in the spot where fishermen would dock their boats back in the day. This beach is a little bit more crowded, mainly because of its location in the heart of the village. However, there is not a specific restaurant located at the exact position but you can find a wide selection of snack bars or restaurants a few steps away from the main area.
Moutte Beach is also a very nice beach and interesting as well as it is only accessed through a small trail along the coast. This makes the journey to the final destination even more enjoyable. It is a hidden little beach, positioned in a protected cove that offers spectacular scenery. Prepare your picnic and enjoy your time in this little jewel.
