About Villefranche-sur-Mer
Villefranche-sur-Mer is a commune in the French Riviera bordering the Riviera’s capital Nice. Between Nice and Villefranche-suer-Mer lies Mont Boron and Mont Vinaigrier, both of each are great for hiking and exploring.
You can enjoy a stroll in the old town at the narrow lanes with picturesque, old, colourful buildings and experience the village’s authentic character and life itself. Along the way, admire the Saint-Michel church, the Saint-Pierre des Pécheurs chapel, the Saint-Elme Citadel, the Obscure Street. Villefranche harbor is also located between Cap de Nice and Cap Ferrat which reaches a depth of 50 meters and is 2.5km long.
You can access Villefranche-Sur-Mer from Nice by train, bus or you can even enjoy a wonderful walk all they way from Cap de Nice until the beautiful sandy beach of Villefranche!
