The Chapelle Bellini is a Florentine-style chapel with an Italian Baroque design featuring a rather impressive clock tower which will catch your eye while you stroll around Cannes.

This chapel was originally built in 1894 by Count Vitali but then bought by artist Emmanuel Bellini in 1953 who turned it into his own workshop. Bellini was an architect who lived in Cannes until his death in 1989. He is famous for his use of colour and expression as well as fauvist techniques.

Shortly after the city’s beloved Emmanuel Bellini passed away, the Association of Friends of the Bellini Chapel was created. Their aim was to maintain his workshop which is famous today as a museum.

The museum is dedicated to the artist’s work of which he created in the exact same location. Discover his beautiful gallery with oils, watercolours, drawings in the interior of this chapel and its interesting interior wooden staircase.

The museum is open only on week days from 14:00 to 16:00.
