While you are walking on the Croisette by the port you may spot a few small but beautiful islands in the middle of the Mediterranean Sea. The Lérins islands are only 20 minutes away from Cannes and they are easily accessible by boat.

This island is home to a community of monks who have been living on Saint-Honorat for centuries. They are however, very hospitable and active as they have been growing their vineyards with a lot of passion therefore by producing high quality wines and liquors.

The most historical monuments you should watch out for is the tower-monastery, Saint-Sauveur chapel and the Chapel of the Trinity. There is also a shop at the monastery where you can buy local wine, honey, olive oil and liqueurs. The monastery also offers retreats for those in search of spirituality or calmness.
