A festival dedicated to classic music, romanticism, and poetry, les Nuits du Château de la Moutte aims to promote an ambience where music and art meet, by providing good quality music and sounds.
The festival is held outside of a beautiful building, the Château de la Moutte, acquired by the famous Emile Ollivier, Prime Minister of Napoleon III. The courtyard of the castle turns into an open-air concert hall filled with classical and jazz sounds.
The festival is held every year and it has become a prestigious music tradition, bringing both artists and audiences together from all over the world. A lot of famous artists have participated over the years. Some of them include Nelson Freire, Boris Barezovsky, Nikolaï Lugansky, Khatia Buniatishvili, Alexandre Tharaud, and many more.
If you happen to be visiting Saint Tropez during summer then you might be lucky enough to enjoy some original sounds of classical music by some of the top elite artists of classical and jazz music. The festival takes place between mid to late August and it usually lasts for 7 days.
