Fragonard is a traditional French perfume brand operating mainly on the south coast of France.

The company’s history dates back to before the First World War, when entrepreneur and perfume lover Eugène Fuchs had the idea of selling perfumes directly to tourists travelling to the French Riviera and give them the opportunity to take home a traditional souvenir in the form of French perfume. The first perfumery opened in 1926 and the brand was named after the famous painter Jean-Honoré Fragonard (1732-1806).
