Overview

A walk along the Promenade Amiral-de Grasse is a great way to enjoy the Mediterranean climate on the French Riviera.

The walk follows the ramparts of the city which were built back in 1603 to protect the city from invaders. Most of the ramparts have remained unharmed since the 17th century and you can walk through them while enjoying the Promenade Amiral-de Grasse.

You will also walk along the old cathedral and the Grimaldi castle which is today the well-known Picasso museum. The Promenade also gives easy access to the old town and all the important museums and monuments of the city of Antibes.

At the end of the walk, a terrace with panoramic views of the Cap d’Antibes awaits you. The terrace of the St-Andre bastion, today the archaeological museum of Antibes, offers beautiful views.

Take a walk through the Promenade Amiral-de-Grasse and appreciate the sun as well as the blues of the sea. You can also find a spot to sit, relax and enjoy your lunch while admiring the view.
