About Antibes France :

The town of Antibes or else known with its Ancient Greek name ‘Antipolis’ is located on the Mediterranean coastline in the department of Alpes – Maritimes in the region of the Côte d’Azur or else the French Riviera.

Antibes finally became French in the 15th century. Around 1850, famous and wealthy people were drawn to the natural beauty of Antibes. Beautiful luxurious villas were built. And soon the city became a meeting place for people from all over world and today it is officially an international destination.

Antibes’ natural beauty and rich history as well as buildings will make you fall in love with the city and the French Riviera itself. It has inspired many artists and writers over the years such as Jules Verne, F. Scott Fitzgerald, Pierre-Auguste Renoir, Claude Monet, Henri Matisse and Pablo Picasso. You will even have the opportunity to visit the Picasso Museum and admire Picasso’s work at first sight as well as other talented artist’s work.
